Dr. Adam B. Yanke

Orthopedic Surgeon

 

Dr. Adam B. YankeDr. Adam B. Yanke is a sports medicine orthopedic surgeon with an interest in advanced arthroscopy, shoulder replacement, and a special focus on patellofemoral dysfunction and cartilage restoration. Dr. Yanke earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Miami University, Oxford, OH, with majors in engineering physics and zoology and a minor in non-linear mathematics. After obtaining his medical degree from Rush Medical College (Chicago, IL), Dr. Yanke continued on at Rush for his Orthopedic Surgery residency. He followed this by attending the Sports Medicine Fellowship at Rush University, where he was trained in advanced joint arthroscopy, shoulder arthroplasty, and cartilage restoration techniques.

Hailey Casebolt, MPAS, PA-C

 

Hailey is a Physician Assistant to Dr. Yanke and assists with the overall clinical and surgical care of our patients. She is a graduate of Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, receiving her Bachelor of Science degree in biomedical sciences with minor in human resource management. She continued at Marquette and successfully completed the Physician Assistant Studies program, earning her Master’s degree in 2012. She has been practicing in orthopedics since 2012, beginning in San Antonio, Texas and has been with Midwest Orthopaedics in Chicago since 2015. She spent the first several years of her career specializing in the treatment of shoulder and elbow problems.

During her undergraduate studies and through PA school she worked as a patient care associate and surgical technician in labor and delivery, caring for both mothers and infants throughout their stay. She is from Union Grove, Wisconsin and enjoys traveling back to spend time with her family. She currently lives in Chicago with her husband and son, and loves to explore the city with them.

Natasha Adams

Administrative Assistant

 

Natasha is an Administrative Assistant with Dr. Yanke and has been with Midwest Orthopaedics since 2020. She ensures that the daily operations of the practice run smoothly and assists with a variety of practice tasks including scheduling, correspondence, and patient communication. She also coordinates the process for cartilage and meniscus transplants.

Marisa Castaneda, MS, ATC

Athletic Trainer

 

Marisa is an Athletic Trainer to Dr. Yanke and has worked in sports medicine since 2015. She joined Midwest Orthopedics in 2020, assisting Hailey and Dr. Yanke with clinic management, patient communication, and surgical clearances.

She completed her bachelor’s degree at Lewis University with a major in Athletic Training. She continued her education at Auburn University, receiving a master’s degree in Exercise Science with an emphasis in Biomechanics. Marisa has worked with athletes of various levels, from high school to college including Northwestern University and the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. She also served as an athletic trainer in physician practice, managing clinic workflow and assisting with in-office procedures. Marisa also served on the Wisconsin Athletic Trainers Association Young Professionals’ Committee organizing educational events and social media marketing for the state. A native to the Chicagoland area, she enjoys spending her free time with family and friends exploring the city and suburbs.
